I estimate there were at least 1300 Bonaparte's Gulls at the Marysville
Sewage Treatment Plant this morning. Scoping from the Ebey Waterfront
Trail, I counted nearly 800 perched on the railings of the tanks at the
west end of the plant. Then, there were another 500 or so in two
large rafts in the main lagoon. After quite a bit of searching, I found the
continuing Franklin's Gull hiding in one of those rafts.

There also was a huge number of Ring-necked Ducks, perhaps 1500-1600.
