The south entrance to the Hylebos Nature trail in Fife is at the corner of 62nd Avenue E and 8th Street E. From there, I drove west on 8th. About half way to the signal light on 54th Avenue E, I saw on my left large birds on the top of a 50 ft white snag, abut noon on Friday. There were 3 Turkey Vultures, very uncommon in the area.

I also noticed that the trailer park and a couple of houses are gone from 62nd. A couple of houses on 8th are also gone. On the north side of 8th there is a No Trespassing sign saying that the area was Fife Water Supply. I wonder if the Fife water department removed the houses to enlarge the draining area.
