Just birding in the yard these days but it seems to have picked up here in Phinney Ridge. This week's birds have included fox sparrows, hermit thrush, yellow warblers, both golden and white-crowned sparrows and today an empid has been flycatching most of the day from a corner thicket.

I say empid because while I think it is a willow flycatcher I am not sure. It's been fairly dark all day so not the best pics and either there is s second empid or the colors on the same keep changing from brown backed you green backed with a yellow wash on belly.

The hermit thrush has been quite vocal which is a treat.
