Here's a mention of a sighting, with photo, in Discovery Park a few years ago.

Yeas ago I saw what I thought was a Townsend's Chipmunk in Seahurst Park here in Burien. I'm not aware of any reports prior or since though, so I may have been dreaming.

A few days ago a Townsend's Chipmunk was in our Phinney Ridge Seattle yard, in front of our living room window. I can't recall ever seeing them in the city, except for perhaps Discovery Park. Any thoughts? Same day as a Hermit Thrush - so perhaps some exurban mojo was in the air.
