Hi Tweets,
Sorry for the late post. Yesterday's 4:45 pm run from Winslow was
productive. A juvenile Brown Pelican landed on Blakely Rock after
approaching from the NE. I then had a couple of Common Terns and one
Parasitic Jaeger near the county line with King. Crossing into King waters
and entering into Elliott Bay, there were no fewer than 3 more Parasitics.
For good measure, I filmed one crossing in front of the Space Needle in the
background :-) All 4 jaegers looked to be light morph adults, but I'm still
analyzing my photos. Birding by telephoto lens can be fun!
