Although I monitor this site I don't often post. I live in Chelan, WA but
spend most of my free time birding & photographing on the Waterville
Plateau & the Colville Reservation. As you can imagine the devastation is
heartbreaking in terms of habitat for birds, the animals & the people who
live in the areas. You can't imagine how unbearably sad it has been to
survey the damage.

For those of you who may have encountered Ron Brokaw, a birder/photographer
who lived in the historic grange building at St Andrews at 6Road & St
Andrews Road (O-Road) he lost just about everything in the fire when the
old grange burned on 9/7/20. Ron was an individual who gave generously of
his time & knowledge to help myself & others to learn to see the absolute
wonder that is the sagebrush steppe. If you ever visited the ponds off
Heritage Road or the Snowy Owl territory around Atkins Lake - then you may
have encountered Ron. His love & passion for the area has always been an
inspiration to many of us in the area.

If anyone who has met him or those who would be willing to help him get
back on his fee to relocate to his home property his mailing address is:
1497 RD 6 NE, Coulee City, WA 99115.

If this post is inappropriate please feel free to remove it from the list

John Houghton - if you see this post please contact me. I have some drone
shots of Moses Coulee & H-Road area. I'll try to go back to the Cameron
Lake area this weekend. The geo fencing was still up last weekend so
couldn't fly. Tried to send you some shots but the email pinged back.
Christy from Chelan of Dead Hawk Owl fame.
