The ongoing AMERICAN GOLDEN-PLOVER was still at the Cedar River Mouth, in Renton, King Co, when I arrived this morning at about 8:00. About an hour later, it was joined by a single BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER. I uploaded 3 videos of this pair of birds. IF they were humans (which of course they are not) I would describe the golden-plover in those 3 videos as being aloof, openly hostile, then resigned to the presence of the new arrival.
