I live 5 minutes from the retention pond by Lowe's so I ran over to see about the Mandarin Duck. Sure enough it was hanging out right there at the edge of the pond along with the dozens of resident mallards. It is a white/cream color with an orange Bill. Nice looking duck. Certainly an escapee.

I am not sure if it is against the rules to attach a photo? I have a couple pictures of it if anyone is interested in seeing them.
