I think seeing Scrub Jays in the Seattle area is still a treat, because they're not all that numerous here. One showed up in my yard near the Arboretum for a few days this winter, and I do see them more regularly near the Agua Verde Cafe / Fritz Hedges Park on Portage Bay. Glad you get to see them!
