Very nice, Diann!

I finally got a Townsend's Warbler today at our home in Roy (after 15 years at this place). (I bet they've been here, but I never heard or saw any.) I was working in the barn, looked out the window and a bright male Townsend's was feeding on the seed/mealworm block - and then on peanuts. It came back several times over about an hour.

That was species 138 on our property since we've been here / and number 54 for 2021. It definitely pays to be in the right place at the right time!

May all your birds be identified,
Denis

Hi, Tweets

I'm just watching a bright male Townsend's warbler on the suet outside my window. A nice surprise. Our 2-3 varied thrushes also add nice color.

Don't forget to watch for very early turkey vultures!

Cheers, Diann
