Today I am working at a desk with good window view into my yard and am
surprised to see a hermit thrush 10' from me. Location is Mutiny Bay,
Whidbey Island. BirdWeb indicates it's uncommon here this time of year;
I've never seen one here in the dead of winter (if it is winter).
