Yes, Kristin, I grew up overlooking Eld Inlet and hunted waterfowl at The Evergreen State College Beach, Fry Cove and other places during the 1969-1973 time frame. I remember the same thing, not an uncommon thing at all.

Totally agree, Brad. Used to live on Budd Inlet in Olympia, and had huge rafts of several hundreds! Hard to count as they were diving in the front and then popping up in the back of the flock endlessly. Glorious!
