With Jo Lynn Edwards in the noon to 2 p.m. window, visible sitting quietly in a bare tree along the river south of the boat launch area parking lot. Quite a bit of other bird activity despite the cold, windy, rainy conditions. Also heard a singing Western Meadowlark near the entrance to the wildlife area.

Spring must be on the way even though it looks and feels like winter still. Always nice to get out there.
