Hi Tweeters,

The large pond 100 yards to the east of the dike trail at the end of Lower
River Road northwest of Vancouver Lake in Clark County held a few
shorebirds this afternoon:

Wilson's Phalarope 4: Looked like 2 males and 2 females
Red-necked Phalarope: 2: Male and female.
Greater Yellowlegs: 1
AMERICAN AVOCET: 3 (found by Les Carlson earlier)
PECTORAL SANDPIPER: 1 (possibly my first one in Clark County in Spring)
Killdeer: 8

Keep your eyes and ears skyward or wherever the shorebirds are feeding.

Jim
