Saw my first fall flock of Varied Thrushes in Seward Park today. Just those quick shadows rising up from the underbrush, with enough of a brief glimpse for an ID before they shape shift and disappear.

I also heard a couple of Western Tanagers and got a good look at one of them. I'm wondering if these are late holdouts or migrating passers through?
