Dear Tweeters,
Today, the eighteenth of October, there was a Sabine's Gull over Padilla Bay in the evening. I observed it from about 1720-1750 as it flew back and forth several times. It stayed mostly in the center of the bay. I was observing from near the northernmost tip of March Point, looking southeast, and I don't think I got any photos. The bird was feeding actively, and sometimes interacted with Mew Gulls. When last seen, it was heading north; an observer on the dike at the Samish West Ninety would have had a good view of the bird at that point.
Yours truly,
Gary Bletsch
