Currently observing a group of almost 100 diving birds from West Side Rd
south of Deadman Bay. Mostly Pacific Loons, I think, although loon ID isn't
my strength. Some may be Red-Throated. Calls easily heard from shore.
Also a few Common Murres, cormorants and at least one Rhino Auklet.
A few Mew and Hermann's Gulls among the Olympics. A Bald Eagle flew over
once and promoted a few birds to dive.
