Yesterday (10.21.21) I saw the SLATY-BACKED GULL that Greg Harrington first reported a few days ago at the Cedar River Mouth in Renton, King County. From about 1:30 to 3:30 the bird faced me and preened. Profile views were few and far between. Got a close up of the dull yellow iris and thru the scope could see the red orbital ring.
