Folks,
It is apparently time for the reminder that, in Mount Rainier National Park,
"All areas of the park are closed to the use of ... audio attractants, or other artificial or natural means of attracting or disturbing wildlife."

In other words, no playback for owls. Listening is fine. (Yes, bit touchy as a former ranger.)
Here outside the park, I hope my attracting bird bath can be restored when repairs out my window are completed before the white-cheeked junco gives up looking for it.
