What a timely post, Gary Bletsch!

I've just returned home from a walk in Southwest County Park (Edmonds),
hearing/seeing the usual suspects when I was stopped in my tracks by a
soft, and then repeated, "whit" call. The song sparrow I proceeded to track
down, just to be sure, was masterful as it returned to its typical song.

Of note, there seems to be an influx now of black-throated gray warblers in
the park - many more singing today (at least 4) compared with the single
FOY one I heard on April 13th in the same area.

Happy spring!
