Subject: [Tweeters] Dumas Bay Bonaparte's Gulls

Today, Sunday 4/24 I birded at Dumas Bay Sanctuary in Federal Way at low
tide. There was a massive concentration of Bonaparte's Gulls resting on the
tidal flats on the eastside of the bay. I have never seen such a large
number, I would estimate from 2000 to 3000 birds - and maybe more! A pair
of Caspian Terns seemed slightly outnumbered!

Good Birding!
