Subject: [Tweeters] Enumclaw airport update
Date: Fri Aug 12 08:26:46 PDT 2022
From: Robert O'Brien - baro at pdx.edu

Being from Portland, I have no direct involvement. But a major issue
(which I don't believe has been mentioned) is the airspace around the
airport. Airplane/Bird collisions are a major issue. Especially
waterfowl, especially geese. I don't know the extent that this area is
near flying waterfowl. But they have to be kept away from flight paths
landing and taking off. This might be a safety issue.
