I saw the Great Egret there as well, this afternoon, around 3:30 pm. It was
playing tag with a great blue heron. And I am also fairly sure I caught the
Red-Shouldered Hawk in flight from behind the reeds in front of the eastern
portion of the muddy pond up into the trees to the west of the with a
pretty clear view of the tail banding. Also a kestrel on a post near the
track. Additionally, saw an osprey, and a quick flash of a bushtit on the
north side of 204 by the little bridge confirmed with Merlin Sound ID.
