I was saddened to see the reports of the varied thrushes departing, so my wife and I went for a Woodland Park walk in search of some we gratefully saw four different groups, one group of six two groups of three and then a single. Probably more than that as many seem to be roosting high in Evergreens and not moving a lot. Hooray for varied thrushes!
