Wow, that's an interesting observation and, now that you mention it, I haven't seen a pine siskin in months here in Bothell.  Oddly, I had some visiting throughout the summer--used to be winter only.

We're out near the end of Steamboat Island Rd in west Olympia.  I was just wondering what other people have been experiencing.  This year we've had about 4 X as many juncos, the usual number of goldfinches but zero siskins.
