Hank, from the ? marks on your post I gather you think this is unusual. Not so for me. I have observed American dippers eating salmon eggs on several, at least 4, occasions, both in SE Alaska and E Washington. I just figured that if the fish are actively spawning, any dippers on the river would be chowing down.
