Today on the floor of the deck sat a fluffed up house finch, not moving but
clearly alive. It seemed strange so I looked closer, from indoors about 6'
away, with the binoculars. It has conjunctivitis. I've brought in the
feeders to wash and sanitize but what should I do about the bird? I'm sure
it's around, but should I try to catch it? Then what? Will my dogs be
affected? Thank you for any advice.
