As most people know by now, I set up a Bluetail viewing area in my side
yard to make both the people and the bird happy. All is well, and everyone
was very respectful and the bird was not disturbed at all as far as I can
tell. At least 80 people now have availed themselves of this opportunity
and all got great views.

I have written up a blog post to document my experience in finding the
bird, then dealing with the onslaught of birders. A story with a happy
ending!
