Good day at Deer Lagoon including 13 trumpeter swans on the freshwater side
of the dike trail. We've never seen them there but local homeowners said
they come in rarely. Still some of the regular waterfowl around
(bufflehead, gadwalls, scaups, plovers, teals) and plenty of brant on the
outside beach at the mouth of the lagoon.
