So, looking out just now I did see my female Lesser Goldfinch on her
designated feeder. Perhaps she was just lost in the crowd. And I was gone
10 days. Evening Grosbeaks do tend to drown out other bird calls, as well
as distract from their presence. Not a bad thing in this situation.
