Life has thrown some curves my way, so the trips out to Klickitat County have been far less regular, but I do have a couple new posts up to cover some trips from summer into fall (www.klickitatcountybirding.blogspot.com). The grand total for the year is at 185 - a total I'm pretty happy with, all things considered! I know there are still some birds out there that I could add for the year. It will just be a matter of seeing if I can get out there one more time.

In the most recent post, there's a little bit at the end about a wood project I'm working on. I'm using wood from the different counties in the state, ideally wood with a little bit of story to it. I've got pieces to work with for Douglas, Klickitat, and Mason - feel free to reach out to me if you life in. . . you know, one of those other 36 counties in the state, and have access to some wood!
