Yesterday on the dog walk, my son found an unmarked but dead saw-whet owl near the interstate on the North Seattle College campus. He took it home, took a lot of photos, and wrapped it well, boxed it, then wrapped THAT, and put it in the freezer. I can't raise anyone at the Burke today; I have it in the freezer at school, but shouldn't the Burke be the long-term location for this poor little owl? Anyone have a contact there?
