Hi, Tweets

For the summers of 2020 and 2021 our backyard was graced with a lovely family of barred owls. They sat outside my windows, perched all over the property and brought their young owlets. Two very enjoyable summers.

This year the barred owls were not seen (but they were heard) and instead we had ravens nesting in our back forest. They are still hanging around and talking occasionally, but not so friendly as the owls were.

We are always pleased with whatever decides to live near us (wildlife, that is).

Cheers, Diann
