For the last couple of days I have seen a likely male Redhead or
possible hybrid at Lake Lorene, Treasure Island Park, Twin Lakes, Federal
Way. The red head and blue bill with "nail" are like a male Redhead, but
most of the body is light brown? Now it could still be molting from
alternate plumage, but it is associating with Ring-necked Ducks and
American Wigeons.
