For over a week now, a quartet of Snow Geese (a family - two adults and two
juveniles) has been hanging out on the big sandbar in the delta at the mouth
of the Cedar River. They are not there all day, but the last few days they
have been there in the morning and part of the afternoon. A good chance to
see Snow Geese close up without a long drive.
