Female Cooper's Hawk at McDonald's in Anacortes. This is an unusual
sighting for me. A 3 second look as the hawk was about 20 feet from the 50
foot evergreen in the parking lot. The hawk went straight upward at about a
45 degree angle. The hawk had a very long tail and the the wings were quite
long. The wing beats were stiff and rapid. The hawk went to the top of the
