This morning I had a Lesser Goldfinch in Port Townsend, which represents a
first record for Jefferson Co.

Not really unexpected, this species has been expanding north and northeast
in recent years. It is established in such places now as Puyallup and
Missoula. I see there was one at Pt No Point a week ago.
