Female NG, as observed from diner table. The hawk was circling and rising.
Then I observed from the deck. The NG went to about 300 feet altitude. Then
out the front door, bird was still drifting and rising and heading toward
the Anacortes Forest. 12: 30. Bright sun. I may be working into the timing
