Hi, Tweets

I'm with Dennis Paulson all the way in regard to his comment: "what a shame to relegate Steller to the trash heap, so no birder in the future is ever prompted to try to learn just who that person was and what he did—for better or worse."

I am mildly frustrated at all this name-changing business. The history of everything is full of good, bad and indifferent happenings. If former ornithologists weren't up to our"modern" standards, so what, that's part of the history of many of our birds. And something people should look into.

Cheers, Diann
