We took a walk around Levee Pond in Fife (I believe) this afternoon and
found a Great Egret instead of the hoped for Green Heron. It stood in the
middle of the pond and was concentrating on fishing and would not be
disturbed, but some ducks took flight.
Ducks present: Mallard, Gadwall, Northern Pintail, Green-winged Teal and
Northern Shoveler. Also a few American Coots and a single Killdeer and a
pair of Bald Eagles flying over.,
Good Birding!
