This collision occurred in November 2022. Aircraft birdstrikes typically occur at lower altitudes, especially near airports, and they are usually at relatively low speeds during take off and landing. This is the first I've encountered where the collision was at altitude (13,000 feet!) and the force was sufficient to depressurize the aircraft. The plane landed safely at Omaha and there were no injuries, but the plane was significantly damaged.
