Hi, Tweets
I am revising a piece I wrote a while back on the great blue heron and I'm not sure now whether one paragraph I originally wrote is still factual. If someone can let me know, I'd appreciate it very much. The short paragraph is:
"Seattleās largest heronry, with nearly 40 nests, is east of Discovery Park in Kiwanis Ravine. To the east, at East Sammamish State Park near Issaquah, there is an even larger colony with around 100 nests. One of the largest heronries in the Puget Sound area is in the Black River Riparian Forest and Wetland, in Renton."
Any comments are welcome, too. I'm sure it's probably out-of-date. Thanks so much.
Cheers, Diann
