Tweeters, WDFW has put out a new blog post highlighting brant geese and places to see them around western Washington that this community may find interesting:

In my opinion these visitors from the high arctic are among the coolest birds we see in winter, especially when their unique vocalizations are ringing across coastal bays and eelgrass flats.
