Other than seeing individual Greater Yellowlegs for about a week, I had not seen anything but resident Killdeer at my little bight of Willapa Bay since late May.

Today at low tide, a newly formed little depression that retains water had 5 Greater Yellowlegs, 2 Lesser Yellowlegs, 2 Short-billed Dowitchers, and 7 Western Sandpipers.
