I have been wanting to explore Windy Gap and Government Meadows to see some
new bird species. I am unfamiliar with the area and was hoping someone
would share some info about the sites.
Is a high clearance vehicle required?
Is it a drive to and walk destination or driving and making multiple stops?
Is the birding terrain difficult?
How much walking distance is required?
Can both locations be visited on the same trip?
Any other info would be helpful.
