A friend forwarded this link to the Edhat news in Goleta. A photographer
who was getting shots of surfers noticed an Osprey struggling with a fish
that was too heavy to fly away with. After a struggle, the Osprey was able
to finally "row" itself to shore still holding the fish. The remarkable
feature of the story was that the Osprey had its talons placed in such a
way that the fish could not "breathe" and had stopped struggling before
they reached shore. The photographer caught this detail in his photos.
