The Black-Capped Chickadee nestlings using our bird box fledged eight days ago. This afternoon I watched a chickadee carrying nesting material into the bird box. Could they be planning a second brood or is this more likely a different pair of Black-Capped planning to use it? I feel bad because I have not had an opportunity to clean it out after the first nestlings fledged.
