I recently returned from an awesome 8 day visit to the Galapagos Islands which was preceded by 10 days of birding on mainland Ecuador.  This is the first of two blog posts about the Galapagos.  The next will be in more detail and with more photos about the incredible wildlife.  Hopefully I will be able to get to the birding blogs next week.
