Hi Tweeters,

I love a good feeding frenzy and I was treated to a huge one between
Grayland and Westport, Grays Harbor County this afternoon into evening. I
estimated 127,200 Sooty Shearwaters (30,000 when I arrived + 90 per every
ten seconds for 3 hours coming in from the south). At times, the feeding
frenzy was about 4 miles long and extended from the surf line to at least a
mile offshore. Waaaay cool stuff! This was spectacle birding at its best!

Keep your eyes and ears …. focused on the birds.
