Hi Tweets,

This morning brought the year's/season's first Western (Pacific-slope) Flycatcher call. This is the earliest in my records, but only by a couple of days; in recent years I've spotted or heard them first on April 26 and April 27. Hearing that call join the mix with a rippling Ruby-crowned Kinglet call and a burbling Pacific Wren song made for a lovely mid-morning chorus.
